my knowledge have been nurtured :)

"Oh it's the end of January.... the next month will be february. and then march.. *goodbye*.. :(" this are probably the words that the fourth year students like me are thinking... As much as we love to stay in our high school life... we must go on with our lives.
Third grading period is now over...the next period will be the "Fourth Grading Period" and what comes next? GRADUATION DAY... I've learned a lot this grading period. My knowledge on certain things are enhanced. My vocabulary skills are now being polished thanks to my English teacher Mr. Rodolfo Raquel as well as to Mrs. Florence Recaido, my Filipino teacher who taught many lessons about the real world because of the stories we've been reading. To my TLE teacher, Mrs. Vera Cruz who taught me how to make my own webpage using the FRONTPAGE. In Social Studies, Mrs. Edith Giron taught us about *production, supply and demand*. In Mathematics, we learned the different techniques of finding the limit if it really exist by Mrs. Quitoriano. To Mr. Rabaca who gave us many lessons or knowledge about different arts, like the dances, cinema, theater, he also gave us knowledge about consumer health, different musicians. We also played some recreational games like scrabble, chess and game of the generals. Mr. Obrero taught us many moral lessons. And lastly, we studied the flow rate and electricity in our Physics class by Mrs. Alegre.
This period made me love all my subjects because my knowledge on several things has been nurtured :) I hope the next grading period will be more interesting :)

We always celebrate Christmas, but do we know the essence of Christmas?
Love and Forgiveness :) This are two words that are significant when it comes to Christmas... It is important to celebrate Christmas because it's only the time that we can "truly and fully" share and express our love.. We can't really express our love on some ordinary days, right? And the feeling that we can feel when someone is letting you feel that he/she love you on a Christmas season is something so EXTRAORDINARY that you really JUMP for joy! But we should remember that love isn't only shared between mankind.. most specially we should remember to love our SAVIOR.it is his birthday and we should make it special for us to thank him for saving us and in our own simple way in expressing our love is by "praising and worshiping" him and we should always believe HIM! Second one that is also significant is FORGIVENESS.. This word is like a twin of love because if you share love and express love on Christmas season you must also forgive those who made you're life miserable in such simple ways... REMEMBER.. according to the Bible... "it's better to have friends than to have enemies!" :)
MERRY CHRISTMAS! :) and a PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR!

a new LIFE to begin :)

Yesterday, I was thinking of what will be the thought of my post and the word "new" unexpectedly went through my mind. New? What's the meaning of this? Let me tell you TWO stories behind this.....
FIRST.....When I was visiting my relatives who already passed away, my heart is aching because I never got the chance to see them, meet them and be loved by them.... I was also wondering if they enjoyed their stay.... I also thought what if I'll die tomorrow , did I enjoy my life to the fullest?
SECOND.... "RECOLLECTION". My first time to enter a seminary :P I met some seminaries and brothers who are really "cute" :P and woah.. handsome... But "chasing boys" isn't the lesson I learned... One lecture that caught my attention is.."who is pulling you?" :) But then those times I was in the midst of making a decision... and BROTHER RICHMUND HELPED ME :) thank you brother! why? This is what I asked "if you're in the midst of making a decision what will you choose..the one the is REALLY RIGHT or the one that is RIGHT FOR YOU/A CHOICE THE WILL MAKE YOU HAPPY...He then answered, "the one that is REALLY RIGHT".. I asked, "WHY?THOUGH WE DON"T LIKE IT?" he again replied.. "always be OBJECTIVE...though you don't like it you will LEARN to LIKE IT and LOVE it as well"... I cried ;( but because of happiness..my mind is now clear and I'm now ready to make a decision... :)

"MONTH OF NOVEMBER" taught me a lesson that I'll always bury here in my mind and soul..... ALWAYS BE HAPPY :) LIVE YOUR LIFE TO THE FULLEST! ALWAYS BE OBJECTIVE IN MAKING A DECISION! NEVER LET YOUR HEART BE BROKEN AND ALWAYS PUT GOD IN YOUR MIND, BODY AND SOUL :)

SCHOOL.CLASS.LEARNING

when I was still in the midst of "adjusting" because now..I'm already a 4th year student.. i wished that time will run really slow..but I never thought that it will happen.. and yeah..it didn't really happen., now. SECOND GRADING PERIOD IS OVER! it's really a bad news for me 'coz... I'll be graduating soon ;-( but d good news is that.. NEW LEARNING HAS BEEN KEPT HERE IN MY MIND =)
my favorite subject =) Physics..well.. i learned about "laws of motion" =), energy, work..stuffs like that =P do you know that we don't have work? because we do work,. but we have energy =) Math... i learned about logarithmic functions, exponential functions. =P TLE-ICT IV.. i learned many things about tags and actually i'm using it whenever I want to edit my profile in my friendster account =) it really has many advantages. English..i learned many things about essay, =P figures of speech.. NOW I KNOW THE WORD "METONYMY".. Chemistry is about thermochemistry, light, waves =P and honestly it's my first time to hear the word "enthalpy" thanks to CHEMISTRY..i've known that word... REsearch.. i've known more things about STATISTICS =P you know "PEARSON PRODUCT MOMENT CORRELATION" ? me? i knew it!! =P Mapeh..my favorite lesson..MARRIAGE.. =) now I know why some marry and why they want to have children..and now I know different processes undertaken if u want to have the "ideal family size" family planning.. =P AP..alokasyon, distribusyon....media awareness...stuffs like that..in Filipino...different theories like "teoryang realismo" and i've learned some lessons in some stories we've discussed..
..
oh... 3rd grading period is now coming.. and then 4th grading period..what comes next? GRADUATION//oh I don't wanna live ISNHS yet... is it okay if I DROP? =P joke..

MY TEACHE, MY HERO!

“The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires” a quote by William Ward. Do your teachers inspire you? If you’re response is “yes” then definitely your teacher is G.R.E.A.T!

My present teachers inspire me, A LOT!! They’re actually acting as my second parents. My teachers have an enormous role in my life and undeniably not only me, also to my classmates. As I said they’re my second parents but I must change the word SECOND to SURROGATE. If I mean “surrogate” it’s not the mother whom I’m referring to it’s just a comparison. According to the dictionary, a surrogate mother is actually a woman who bears a child for another person, often for pay, either through artificial insemination or by carrying until birth another woman's surgically implanted fertilized egg and another definition is, one that acts as, serves as, or is a mother substitute. Let me apply my teachers in terms of the first definition of a surrogate mother, my teachers inspire and teach me but they are paid by my parents and my education is not for them it’s for the benefit of my parents, right? From the second definition, my teachers is actually a substitute for my parents, it’s a common sense.

My teachers are indeed my HEROES! Why? Because, in such a way that they touched my life just by reaching out their ideas to me or I should mean to us, they’ve always been teaching us GMRC (GOOD MORAL RIGHT CONDUCT), my teachers are always there teaching us though they have a hectic schedule also for their extra works.

I’ve always appreciated my TEACHERS for their EFFORTS =) so, we need to thank our teachers, they are our hero…..WE ARE NOT HERE TODAY WITHOUT THEM THAT’S ALWAYS GUIDING US! Make them happy by just simply listening and participating well in your classes, it’s a big deal for them! BELIEVE ME!

Science is our LIFE =0

Today, Science is now performing a big part in our nation and this ROLE is somewhat became our LIFE. We will not anymore be satisfied with our life if Science isn't there by our side. Science is now really taking a part in our everyday life, it makes work easier and that's the PARAMOUNT thing SCIENCE can do!
Let us go back to history, shall we? The first discovery of human is fire and we can identify it as SCIENCE, right? As days go by, our nation is improving. After they discover fire here comes a new development, the use of fire…. These are just things to let you know or to prove that Science really is evolving! Years from now, our nation or I should mean OUR UNIVERSE will be more progressive, modernize, and a high technology world. We can actually say that “nothing is impossible to Science”, right? Yes, we’re partially right because still our god the father is the most superior among all!
Science, a very popular word because it means a lot to us! My only advice is that, whatever Science make let us care for it, let it be not the source of crime in this world…all sorts of crime!

One Language, One country!

Here in the Philippines, August is the month that we usually celebrate our own language that is "Wikang Filipino". For us, Filipinos, own language is the most important thing that a country must have. "Wikang Filipino" by the way was introduced to as by our very own Manuel Quezon. He introduced "Wikang Filipino" as our Philippine Language because this language is widely understood by almost all Filipinos and it's usually used by some teachers as their language in teaching.
Manuel L. Quezon started allocating “Wikang Filipino” in his province which is now called as Quezon. From Baler, Quezon where he was born, “Wikang Filipino” was allocated all over the Philippines and when it was well-known, Quezon proclaimed it as our language.
As an honor to Manuel Quezon and also as a respect to our language, we are celebrating "Buwan ng Wika" as we call it here in the Philippines. In our school, there are many activities that we've done is celebration of "buwan ng wika". Many contests were prepared like balagtasan, pagbigkas ng tula, jingle, slogan making, poster making, quiz bee and etc.
For the Filipinos out there reading this post, please let's use our own language! Let me quote a sentence that Jose Rizal had spoken when he was about to die, "ang hindi magmahal sa sariling wika ay higit pa sa amoy ng malansang isda".
